MINI SOCCER STARS

(18-24 MONTHS)

The objective of our 18-24 month old class (Mini Stars) is to introduce very young players to the beautiful sport of soccer with TOTAL engagement with parents. The coach will look to set up an atmosphere where parent and child can play, share, and grow but the help of the parent is crucial to engage the little ones as they learn to follow along to the directions of the coach for the first time. We sing, we run, we even get silly, all to CREATE a positive environment to influence these young, future players. We will aid players in following instructions and will introduce coordination and balance exercises to help continue to develop motor skills, giving a solid foundation for our youngest players to continue to grow.

SOCCER STARS

(2-3 YEAR OLDS)

The objective of this program is to aid in the healthy development of kids' physical, physiological and motor skills. We will introduce various activities which will target to develop the children’s agility, balance, hand-eye & foot-eye coordination and orientation in space.  In this class we slowly start the transition to having the little ones learn to interact in class alone without their parents. This process is different for each player so parent help is still encouraged for all the little ones that might need a little extra encouragement to participate.

SUPER STARS

(4 YEAR OLDS)

In this class, we will continue to build upon the previous years, looking to improve the players coordination, agility, balance, skill and confidence. The objective for this program is to prepare players with the balanced foundation of soccer skills and basic understanding and rules of the game.  Activities are more focused around the REAL game, with the soccer ball being included in almost all activities. Having gone through our Super Star’s class, players should be ready to join our Skills Developmental programs for 5-12 year olds.
