JHONNY ARTEAGA
PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER
Jhonny Arteaga is a former professional soccer player who has always shared his time and experience with young soccer players. On a soccer scholarship at Domincan College (NY) NCAA Division II, Arteaga played four years of college soccer where he was named Div. II All-American and Conference Player of the Year in 2007. In 2008, Arteaga graduated with a B.S. in Marketing Management before turning professional. In 2011, Arteaga founded JA Elite Soccer Academy to provide players of  all ages an elite training and education. Arteaga has extensive coaching experience with all ages and holds a U.S. Soccer Federation National 'B' Coaching License, has also completed the USSF Coaching Youth Module, 'F', 'E' & 4V4 grassroots coaching licenses as well as a U.S. Futsal coaching license from the U.S. Futsal Federation. Arteaga played professionally from 2008-2014. Arteaga also served as the Assistant Coach for Iona College Men's Soccer Program (NCAA Division I) and also serves as a U.S. Futsal
Federation- Connecticut Junior Soccer Association Technical Resource. Arteaga is First Aid/CPR Certified.

JUAN ZUBILLAGA

DIRECTOR AND PROFESSIONAL COACH

Joining JA Elite Soccer Academy LLC in 2017, coach Juan brings great experience in youth soccer. Born in Punta Del Este, Uruguay and growing up in Stamford, CT coach Juan Zubillaga attended the University of Connecticut graduating in May 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communicational Sciences. A four year varsity player for Westhill HS in Stamford, coach Juan captained and led the team his senior year and was named to the All FCIAC First Team in 2007. After focusing on his studies at UCONN, coach Juan travelled to his native Uruguay to play for semi-professional team Playa Honda in the Liga Universitaria de Uruguay. While in Uruguay, Juan played semi-professionally and coached youth teams with the main focus on physical conditioning and strength training. Coach Juan has coaching experience most recently with Shoreline FC premier (Greenwich, CT) and holds a U.S Soccer Federation 'F', National 'D' License, 4v.4, 7v.7, 9v.9, & 11v.11 grassroots coaching licenses, has completed the USSF Coaching Youth Module as well as US Futsal Federation coaching license. Juan is First Aid/CPR Certified.

ESTO ESTRADA

PROFESSIONAL COACH

Coach Esto joined JA Elite Soccer Academy in August of 2019. Born and raised in Guatemala, Coach Esto had been playing soccer for as long as he can remember. Coach Esto played for the Guatemalan Youth National Team where he was recognized and later advanced into his professional career at Aurora F.C. (Guatemala City, Guatemala). He later brought his talents into the Brazilian soccer system and played for Municipal and Gremio, both top professional teams in Brazil. He attended Federal University of Porto Alegre, Brazil where he completed a degree in Veterinary Studies. Coach Esto began his Coaching career in 1996, and has Coached at all levels ranging from Travel, High School, Premier, and Collegiate. With over 20 years of experience, Coach Esto brings wealth of experience and knowledge in youth coaching.

JORGE ZUBILLAGA

PROFESSIONAL COACH

Coach Jorge Zubillaga has been part of JA Elite Soccer Academy LLC since 2015. Born in Punta Del Este, Uruguay and growing up in Stamford, CT coach Jorge had a notable youth playing career being part of the CT ODP, Region 1 ODP, and National ODP programs. He attended and played High School soccer for Westhill HS in Stamford. In 2009, coach Jorge attended Lindenwood University (Missouri) where he red shirted before transferring to Dominican College (NY) NCAA Division II. During his time at Dominican College, coach Jorge won the CACC Championships for multiple years and was named to the CACC 1st team for several years. Coach Jorge graduated in 2014 with a B.A in Communications. Eager to pursue a professional playing career, coach Jorge traveled to Uruquay where he spent time with Canadian Soccer Club of Uruquay's 2nd division. In the Unites States he has played for PDL clubs Westchester Flames & Connecticut Azul as well as NPSL Club Elm City Express. Coach Jorge has extensive youth coaching experience with players of all ages. Coach Jorge holds a U.S. Soccer Federation National 'F', National D License, 4V.4, 11v.11 grassroots coaching licenses, has completed the USSF Coaching Youth Module as well as US Futsal Federation coaching license. Jorge is First Aid/CPR Certified.

DIEGO MIRANDA

PROFESSIONAL COACH

Growing up in Quito, Ecuador; coach Diego was a part of top professional soccer club DU's youth system. In 2004, after moving to the US; Diego earned a soccer scholarship to attend Dominican College (NY) NCAA Division II. Diego played four years of college soccer from 2005-2008, winning CACC Championships during the 2005 & 2006 seasons. A key contributor to the program's success during these years, Diego graduated in 2009 with a B.S in Accounting. Coach Diego has been part of JA Elite Soccer since September, 2014. He holds a U.S. Soccer Federation National 'F', 4v.4, 11v.11 grassroots coaching licenses, has completed the USSF Coaching Youth Module as well as US Futsal Federation coaching license. Diego is First Aid/CPR Certified.

GEORGE ULLOA

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR/PROFESSIONAL COACH

Born and raised in Stamford, CT, George attended Westhill High School playing soccer for his last two years. In 2016, he graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors degree in Economics with a minor in Finance. During his senior year in college, he had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence Italy where he captained his program's soccer club leading them to the final of the regional tournament. Coach George has been part of JA Elite Soccer since September, 2018 and has 6 years of coaching experience. He holds U.S Soccer grassroots coaching license 4v4, 7v7, 9V9 and is First Aid/CPR Certified. He is proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, and all social media platforms. He is also fluent both in English and Spanish.

TOMMY GUTIERREZ

PROFESSIONAL COACH

Coach Tommy joined JA Elite Soccer academy in August of 2021. Born in Buenos Aires Argentina and raised in Westchester NY. He attended Mount Vernon high school where he played varsity all 4 years and led them to their first sectional playoff games in 10 years. Coach Tommy also played on premier team, Golden Touch United, ranking #1 in NY and 5th in the country in 2017.  In 2016, he anchored the team to win EDP undefeated. Tommy helped lead the team to become finalists in the 2016 Disney Boys Soccer Showcase.  Coach Tommy also played in USL2 and NPSL. He holds U.S Soccer grassroots coaching license 4v4, 7v7 and 11v11.

ELVIS RODRIGUEZ

PROFESSIONAL COACH

Elvis Rodriguez was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT. He has over 15 years of soccer experience, playing for nationally ranked teams like Everton America ranked 2nd in the nation and FSA ranked #1 in the nation (Farmington Soccer Academy). Later starting his collegiate career at Iona College 2016 a division I school and pursued a business management degree. Later on, in 2018 transferred to Sacred Heart University to double major in Marketing and Business Management with a Minor in Human Resource Management. 
For the past 6 years, Elvis has been working for JA Elite and he continues to develop and educate himself on new soccer philosophies and techniques. He holds U.S Soccer grassroots coaching license 4v4, 7v7 and 11v11.
